There are so many things to do in Mysore but during Dasara festival, all you have to do is to take a walk. Carry your smartphone or a good camera to capture the city that glitters with millions and millions of lights. I bet, you will not find any other city illuminated this way during the festive seasons.
Why not go for a Tonga ride? Your children will like it and it is going to be fun. You can hire them almost anywhere at the center of the city or head to the clock tower. You will find many of them in different sizes and decorations all lighted up.
During Mysore Dasara, the city of palace is illuminated all evenings during the Navaratri festival, including the Amba Vilas Palace. You will never require a flash for that beautiful selfie.
You can’t help but embrace the slow moving traffic that has an advantage, you will spend more time observing the paradise.
Mysore is not only about the palaces, the lights or other heritage buildings. It is also about its exhibitions, the parks, shopping, food and its humble people. Remember this blog, the RoyalMysore.com for more contents right from Mysore.
